Giraffe Baby Shower Cake

Hello there! It's been quite a while. Thought I'd stop in quick and share this cake I did quite a while ago. The mother-to-be LOVES giraffes and the color green, so the design of the cake was pretty easy to figure out.

The giraffes were modeled from a 50/50 gumpaste/fondant mix and then hand painted and dusted. The ribbon border was also hand painted.

What do you think? I was kind of sad to see these two beauties go, but glad they were able to make the celebration a little sweeter. ;o)
